Petaluma encourages residents to become involved in their local community. One way to do so is to serve on one of the City's various boards, commissions, or committees. The City accepts applications annually in June, or when positions become available. Please contact the City Clerk for more information on the application process.
Building Board of Appeals
(Housing Advisory and Appeals Board)
The Building Board of Appeals consists of five members who are qualified by experience and training in the building and construction fields and who serve without compensation.
The members are appointed by Council and serve at the pleasure of Council.
