The Petaluma Fire Department is staffed with full-time paid firefighters. Each member of the Department has training in emergency medical services at the minimum level of EMT-1 and many are EMT-Paramedics. Each has been trained in a variety of technical rescue skills including Rescue Systems, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, Auto Extrication and Hazardous Materials--Operational Level. The Department is comprised of the following personnel:
