Exact Change

Drivers do not make change. Passengers must deposit exact fare in the fare box. Dollar bills are also accepted in the fare box. Please be ready to deposit the exact fare when you board the bus.

Transfers
Free transfers with paid fare for connections with other Petaluma Transit routes are issued at time of boarding only to complete a one-way trip not served by a single route.


Transfer must be used within one hour.

Transfer Agreements with Other Transit Agencies
Petaluma Transit also accepts transfers FROM other transit systems. Transfers FROM Sonoma County Transit and Golden Gate Transit are good for a $1 credit ($.50 for seniors and disabled) towards the Petaluma Transit fare.
Petaluma Transit transfers TO other agencies are good for a $1 credit when transferring FROM Petaluma Transit to both Sonoma County Transit and Golden Gate Transit.
