Exact Change

Drivers do not make change. Passengers must deposit exact fare in the fare box. Dollar bills are also accepted in the fare box. Please be ready to deposit the exact fare when you board the bus.

Effective July 24, 2010, the NEW Fixed Route Fare Structure will be:

Two children, five years or younger, free with one paying adult. Transfers are free with paid fare.

Petaluma Transit passes may be purchased at the following locations:
City Hall - Finance Department, 11 English St.
Luchessi Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd.
Mail Depot, 40 4th Street (4th and C)
G and G Supermarket, 701 Sonoma Mountain Parkway
Lolita’s Market, 451 Lakeville Street
Boys & Girls Club Main Clubhouse, 203 Maria Drive
Petaluma City Schools Admin, 200 Douglas St.
Kenilworth Jr. High School, 800 Riesling Rd. (students only)
Petaluma Jr. High School, 700 Bantam Way (students only)
10-Ride Transit Pass

Transfers
Free transfers with paid fare for connections with other Petaluma Transit routes are issued at time of boarding only to complete a one-way trip within one hour of issuance.

Transfer Agreements with Other Transit Agencies
Petaluma Transit also accepts transfers FROM other transit systems. Transfers FROM Sonoma County Transit and Golden Gate Transit are good for a $1.25 credit ($1.00 for students, and $.50 for seniors and disabled) towards the Petaluma Transit fare. Petaluma Transit transfers TO other agencies are good for a $1 credit when transferring FROM Petaluma Transit to both Sonoma County Transit and Golden Gate Transit.
