Certified draft Environmental Impact Report for new water recycling facility. To treat the community's wastewater, the new facility will include extended aeration, secondary clarifiers, oxidation ponds, tertiary filters, UV disinfection, and treatment wetlands. Construction of the facility began in 2003, with final operation commencing in 2007.
Recycled 780 million gallons (2,500 acre-feet) of recycled water for irrigation of agricultural lands and a golf course. This is equivalent to 46% of the City's annual average dry weather flow, and 38% of the City's total annual flow.
Began design of the Recycled Water Pipeline - Phase 1 to provide recycled water to a local golf course.
Began implementation of the comprehensive monitoring, operations and maintenance program for the City's collection system to evaluate the condition of the City's collection system and prioritize and construct needed repairs.
Completed construction of the C Street Storm Drain project.
Replaced over 2,700 high flow toilets through the toilet replacement programs. Estimated annual water savings is 53 acre-feet (16 million gallons).
Completed construction of the Cleveland Lane water main replacement project.
